QTalk – Safe messaging app designed for teenagers

Are kids and teenagers safe online? Are they safe from cyberbullying? Do they share only meaningful information?
These were the question which arise when we were about to submit our idea for the Hackathon. So we decided to create a chat app linked with you Google account and a cloud based serviced so you never lose your chats, and documents.
The problem statement “To create a chat application for teenagers to socialize as well as stay safe online by preventing spread of fake news, preventing use of vulgar languages similar messages, Prevent spread of Inappropriate images, Extract text from the image shared (for educational purpose).”
So I present to you 𝐐𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊. A social chat application build at HAB59 Hackathon, MIT ADT University.
The features of this app:
– Replace vulgar words to “***”.
– If the words are used more then 4 time, clear the text field and does not send the message.
– Image classification for SFW (on device)
– Real Time Fake News Detection on users will to check the news before forwarding.
– Extract text from the images for assignment purposes.
